A clear, calm countdown on the projector. Up to three papers side by side, extra time worked out for every concession group, and matric bathroom tracking — so invigilators can watch the room, not the clock.

One screen the whole hall can read from the back row, set up in about a minute.
Different subjects in one venue, each with its own countdown and schedule, side by side.
+10, +15 or +20 minutes per hour. Every concession group gets its own row with its own finish time.
Extra time after the paper, and a clear bathroom status: locked for the first hour and the last 30 minutes, available in between.
Five or ten minutes of reading before writing starts, shown separately on the schedule.
A gentle chime at each change, and a clear five-minute warning on screen before time is up.
Fire drill or power dip? Add or remove five minutes and every finish time moves with it.

Tick the concession groups in the room. The timer works out when each group starts reading, starts writing and finishes — and shows it all on one schedule.

Afrikaans in the front, English in the middle, Life Sciences at the back — each paper gets its own countdown and its own finish time, readable from the last desk.
Use your school account. It takes you straight to the timer, with your school's name already on it.
Name, finish time and duration. Pick the venue type and the concession groups.
One click goes full screen. The timer takes it from there.

No manual to read. The setup screen keeps your venue's settings from day to day, and today's papers too — so a timer closed by accident reopens with its times intact.
Once a PC has opened the timer, it keeps a copy of it. If the network drops in the middle of a paper, the countdown simply carries on.

R150 per month per school, VAT included, on a 12-month subscription (R1,800 a year). That covers every PC and every exam venue at the school, all three exam modes and every update.
No. Sign in, open the timer and put it on the projector. It works in Chrome, Edge and other modern browsers.
Nothing you will notice. A paper that is already running keeps counting down. A PC that has opened the timer before also keeps a copy of the timer itself, so it starts even with no connection — open it as an app (Chrome and Edge can install it, see the guide) or from a bookmark of the timer page itself, whose address has /timer/ in it. This home page and the guide need the internet.
Per hour of the paper: +10, +15 or +20 minutes for every hour. A three-hour paper with +10 minutes per hour gets 30 extra minutes. Each group gets its own row with its own finish time.
Everyone starts together and extra time is added after the standard finish. The bathroom status shows "locked" for the first hour of the paper and the last 30 minutes before the standard end (it stays locked through the extra time), and "available" in between.
Yes. Open the timer on as many PCs as you have venues — each one runs its own papers.
Yes — the user guide walks through setting up a paper, every part of the projector screen, the alerts, and what to do when something goes wrong. It prints as a handout too.
The timer keeps running once it is open. For anything else — accounts, subscriptions or a fault in the timer — email catmastery.sa@gmail.com with your school's name.
Sign in with your school account and have the first venue on the projector in a minute.
